  • Gilgamesh ruled over the kingdom of Uruk.
  • After many visions of his own death, Enkidu dies. Gilgamesh is so overwhelmed by grief that he decides to set out on a quest for immortality.
  • Gilgamesh's success is cut short by the serpent who steals the flower of immortality for him. He must learn to face his own mortality now.
